Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seek Thyself with Oumayma Rose ("Seek Thyself," "I," "me") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit seekthyself.com, contact me, book a session, buy a course or subscribe to my newsletter.

What I collect

  • Information you give me: your name, email address, phone number (optional unless you choose to share it), and anything you write in a form, application or email. When you book or buy, I also receive the details needed to complete your order.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Squarespace and its payment partners (such as Stripe or PayPal). I never see or store your full card number.
  • Automatic information: like most websites, this site collects basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, through Squarespace's built-in analytics and cookies.
  • Spam protection: forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and usage data subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.

How I use it

  • To reply to your messages and applications, and to schedule and deliver sessions, courses and events
  • To process payments and send confirmations or receipts
  • To send the Moonletter and occasional updates, only if you opt in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who I share it with

Only with service providers that help me run the practice, and only as needed: Squarespace (website, forms, commerce, analytics), payment processors, Substack (newsletter), and Google (email, calendar and scheduling). Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law.

What you share in sessions

What you share with me in sessions, applications or intake conversations is kept confidential and used only to support your work with me. Please note that Seek Thyself is not a healthcare provider, so this information is not covered by HIPAA.

Cookies

Squarespace uses cookies that are necessary for the site to work, plus analytics cookies that help me see how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required for tax and legal records. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop receiving emails. California residents have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what information is collected and to request deletion. Email hello@seekthyself.com and I'll respond within 30 days.

This site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common standard for them yet.

Children

This site and my services are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. Minors may only book sessions with a parent or guardian's consent.

Changes

If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here with a new date.
